Adding Support for PingID, ADFS, SAML and More…
We all know that bespoke Username and Passwords are going the way of the dinosaur. Increasingly more and more people are shying away from creating a specific “account” and instead are opting for Single-Sign-On (SSO) such as Google or Microsoft. Not only does this remove the need to “remember yet another password”, these providers increasingly support excellent Multi-Factor authentication options to keep your account secure.
WorkfloPlus is no stranger to SSO. For a while now we’ve offered both Microsoft and Google sign-on and while these are great options for the majority of our users, our Enterprise customers have frequently requested more extensive options.
We are pleased to announce that from today, Enterprise customers (across our on-prem, private cloud and public cloud deployments) now have the option of integrating WorkfloPlus into their existing identity infrastructure.
This will allow any user with an existing corporate identity account to use their familiar and standard login processes to access WorkfloPlus on Mobile, Web and HMT-1. This completely removes the friction for onboarding users by allowing them to register and sign-in automatically without creating separate WorkfloPlus user accounts.
Under the hood, WorkfloPlus has integrated Auth0, the leader in identity and authentication solutions. By leveraging Auth0’s extensive connection provider list, WorkfloPlus can now authenticate with with:
- Active Directory / LDAP
- ADFS
- Azure Active Directory
- Google G Suite
- OpenID Connect
- PingFederate
- SAML
By implementing Auth0, it’s now easy to offer a plethora of Enterprise Identity Providers that before, would have been developed on a case-by-case basis. We can now enable any of these providers as part of our standard Enterprise solution in an instant.
When enabled, a “Sign In With [Identity Provider]” button will appear for any teams who have this functionality available, making it easy for your staff to login using their existing and familiar identity provider.
Additionally, you have the option to enable auto-enrollment, so users don’t need to register or create a WorkfloPlus Account before logging in. Users simply sign-in with Enterprise credentials and an account will be created automatically.
To get started, contact your Enterprise Account Manager today. We’ll need to find out some connection details for the Identity Provider you wish to integrate with, but, if the provider you need is in the list above, getting connected should be smooth sailing.
Go Team.
