What does a typical day look like for you and what are you currently working on?
A typical day for me is talking to customers and potential clients all around the world. Helping them on their digital transformation journey and helping them realise the added value WorkfloPlus can deliver to their organisation. I also work closely with our partners, supporting them with their potential clients and existing customers.
What is on your wish list for your next five years here?
Helping Intoware to continue its mission in developing our offering to expand the potential use cases in our target markets. As we work closer and closer with our customers we see more and more potential for WorkfloPlus. Our land and expand strategy is helping us to deliver long term relationships and I only see that getting stronger over the next five years.
What kind of skills do you need to be effective in your role?
The key skills to be highly effective in my role is understanding how a business can consume our offering. Workfloplus delivers digital change and transformational change to operational tasks, to help a customer deploy you must understand how that company operates and how it financially purchases. These skills help you work in partnership with your customer and support the delivery of key goals.
What do you like most about your job?
Working with great companies and passionate people all around the world. I get to understand various points of view and see various challenges that affect lots of organisations. This naturally improves me as a professional.
What’s your most memorable facepalm moment?
I think realising how powerful WorkfloPlus can be, I joined Intoware understanding the potential to improve operations and technical tasks (removing paper processes) but not till I was fully engaged with customers did i see the potential of downstream analytics and business intelligence and how this could be used in various ways to improve a business - only then did I fully understand the potential of WorkfloPlus. As the Sales Director that is a bit of a facepalm moment lol..
We have a tradition of having a joke of the week during our team catch up. In honour of this can you give us your favourite joke?
Jokes are not my strong point but here you go:
Did you hear about the French cheese factory that exploded ?
De Brie everywhere…….
Maybe this should be my facepalm moment!
What’s your favourite line from a film?
My favourite film is The Empire Strikes Back, so I have to take a few lines from that film.
“Do, or do not, there is no try” Yoda
“The force is with you young Skywalker, but you’re not a Jedi yet” Darth Vader
Finally, who would you like to highlight from the next issue's “Meet The Team” segment?
David Reid, the latest addition to our development team.
